- A Special Issue in Applied Sciences called "Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI)" link.
- A Special Issue in Neurocomputing called "Fast Learning of Neural Networks with Application to Big Data Processes".
- A Special Issue in Frontiers in Neurorobotics called "Advances in Robots Trajectories Learning via Fast Neural Networks".
- A special/flagship for the TF bi-annual Symposium was organized to kick-off in 2014 within the SCCI-2014, Orlando, FL, USA where the TF Chair was also Publicity co-Chair.
- A close collaboration with the Special Interest Group (SIG) on ALS within INNS has been established involving its chair as a member of the TF.
- A Workshop on Autonomous Learning within the forthcoming WCCI 2014 hase been prepared and application made.
- A Tutorial on Autonomous Learning within the forthcoming WCCI 2014 has been prepared and application made jointly with the Special Interest Group on ALS within INNS.
- Special sessions on Autonomous Learning within WCCI 2014 have been prepared jointly with the Special Interest Group on ALS within INNS and approved.
- A large book (Handbook in two volumes, about 800-1000pp) on Computational Intelligence (by World Scientific) covering extensively the topic of ALS – theory and applications.
- Plan special issue(s) in a major journal covering the topic of ALS.
